The system allows two methods for calculating duration: manually setting it per appointment or using predefined rules that automatically determine the duration based on various appointment characteristics. The latter ensures consistency and can be adjusted in real-time.

How does your software allocate appointment timeslots?

Timeslots are allocated by validating the details of a booking (like truck type and pallet count) against the shift settings for the specific site, warehouse, and date.

What happens if a vendor or carrier anticipates a delay or reduction in shipment?

If a vendor or carrier foresees that they cannot meet an appointment or will ship less than planned, they can easily amend the appointment through the web portal. During this amendment process, they must provide a reason and can request an alternative date if necessary.
